The Morellos music is based on Quintette du ‘Hot Club’ de France - Parisian Gypsy Jazz made famous by the legendary Django Rheinhardt and Stephane Grappelli in the 1930’s and 40’s.

The music is vibrant, atmospheric and has a great ‘feel good’ factor. Once the rhythm starts it’s hard not to tap your foot.

Violinist Steve Elsworth is probably the best exponent of gypsy jazz in this country. His soulful playing captures the mood of an eventful era.

Guitarist Nils Solberg is a well-known jazz musician who plays with amazing commitment. Fiery solos and solid rhythm keep the music alive.

Double Bassist Kelvin Cantlon provides the foundation for the gypsy jazz feel. The rhythm is deceptively simple, but one that just makes you feel happy
